To benefit from this protection, the application must be installed on a clean machine, before the attack. This module relies on real-time, backup functionality that automatically identifies and saves the contents of the relevant files. All saved copies are secured to keep them out of the reach of ransomware. When the main engine detects a threat, it restores the affected files automatically. For all the other cases, one can recover files manually.
